In the simplest of terms, we send a CBD Accredited assessor to measure lighting power density of your building’s functional space (that is the power of luminaires/lamps plus any control gear, divided by the floor area of that space), detail ballasts and transformers in use, photograph and comment on types and ceiling grids, and aid in the resolution of any issues. A few third-party documents are applicable in assessment, for CBD Administrators. A TLA must be submitted within 4 months of assessment, remains valid for 12 months, and is necessary for a valid BEEC. More information can be found at the CBD website.
